This inviting store specialises in selling a wide selection of easy-care houseplants that can be paired with a mix of pots, some of which are handmade. Inside you will find a wide range of beautiful cards and books, tools, compost and everything you will need to care for your plant, plus great advice on the best plant for you. A selection of carefully handmade terrariums and hand-planted displays in terracotta pots are available either as presents to be gifted or to help create a green oasis in your home.
STIR Stir is Cambridge’s independent cafe brand, serving speciality coffee, freshly baked pastries made daily by our team of bakers and a seasonal brunch menu. We focus on quality, consistency and welcoming service across our sites in Histon, Chesterton, Cherry Hinton Road and Addenbrooke’s. You can also enjoy our freshly made food and drink through click and collect or Deliveroo. Cambridge is full of brilliant cafes, bakeries and independents so we’re delighted to be considered in this year’s People’s Choice Awards. If you’ve enjoyed a coffee, brunch or quick bite with us this year, we’d be grateful for your vote!
UNIVERSITY ARMS University Arms is a true Cambridge icon, where history, charm and a dash of British magic meet on Parker’s Piece. A stay with us is like stepping into a love letter to Cambridge itself: every corridor whispers a story, every painting holds a secret and every detail is sprinkled with character. You don’t simply visit University Arms, you wander into the soul of Cambridge, wrapped in comfort, laughter and a touch of old-fashioned enchantment.
