But it could be that VR requires different, non-traditional approaches that demand new ways of thinking when it comes to creating content. “You have to have a different mindset to create this stuff. You have to think of all of your senses at once,” she says. “It’s more holistic. I’m not saying men don’t do that and women do, but the traditional screenwriting model is very logical and linear, whereas for VR and interactive, you have to think about everything at once. You have to think with your hands and with your body sometimes, too. It opens it up to people who haven’t had that ability to express everything through words. It’s a broader group that can contribute.”
