GEAR LIGHTING SPECIAL

PROLYCHT IN THE LIMELIGHT

The Prolycht Orion 675 FS exploits a six-colour LED engine that combines red, green, blue, amber, cyan and lime, to create a wider colour gamut than rival lights with standard RGBWW technology. The company claims it’s the most powerful fully colour-tunable spotlight, equal in output to a 5000W Tungsten head and brighter than a 1200W HMI. The Orion 675 FS doesn’t have separate controller or ballast, as everything is built into the head, allowing for quick set-up. In total, the head weighs 9.45kg/21lb, which is lighter than some COB-type lamps with separate ballasts.

This weatherproof unit comes with two reflector dishes, and a Bowens S-mount means it will accept the forthcoming 10in fresnel, 60in soft dome and 35in soft lantern. A basic kit is £2726/$2795. prolycht.com
