The DJI Mini 5 Pro is the first mini drone to feature a one-inch sensor for boosted image quality. Weighing under 250g, it can be flown in most countries without any certification. It houses a 50-megapixel sensor capable of capturing 4K/60p HDR with up to 14 stops of dynamic range, as well as slow motion at 4K/120p. The Mini 5 Pro records 10-bit video in H.265 with expanded ISO options, supports DJI’s D-Log M and HLG modes and introduces a new 48mm Med-Tele mode. It offers vertical shooting, 225° roll rotation for dynamic gimbal moves, plus Quick Shots, Master Shots and Timelapse modes. DJI’s upgraded Active Track 360° provides safer, customisable tracking for sports and fast-paced action. Safety has been improved with LiDAR-based nightscape omnidirectional obstacle sensing and multiple vision sensors that allow navigation of low-light cityscapes and return-to-home, even without GPS. Flight time is up to 36 minutes with the Intelligent Battery or 52 minutes with Battery Plus. Prices start at £689; it’s not available in the US. dji.com MINI DRONE GETS MEGA SENSOR

See Accsoon’s Master stroke
Accsoon has rolled out free major updates for its Cine View Master 4K wireless system and its See app, which can turn iPhones into high-resolution monitors with camera control tools without needing any extra hardware. Available for iOS 18 devices, the app transforms iPhones and iPads into on-set monitors using the USB-C connection or via Lightning with an adapter. Pro tools like waveform, false colour, RGB parade and zebra, plus camera control for select Sony and Canon models, are all included. The Master 4K wireless video transmission system supports H.265 encoding at up to 4K/60p. The new
codec delivers higher image quality at the same data rates, improving both live transmission and recording workflows. A single Master 4K transmitter can now connect with up to ten receivers or Cine View M7 Pro monitors – up from the previous limit of four devices. The brand has also launched a public beta firmware for Sony FX6 camera control over Wi-Fi from the Cine View M7 and M7 Pro. This adds to the existing camera control functions for selected Sony and Canon mirrorless cameras. There is also a new V-Lock adapter for the Accsoon Cine View M7 and M7 Pro, costing $99. No UK price is set yet. accsoon.com
