Solabulb zooms into focus

Astera now boasts three different bulb-style LED practical lights after unveiling the Solabulb, which has an industry-first zoomable fresnel lens that shifts between a tight 15° spot and a wide 50° wash. Delivering the output of a 50W PAR bulb while drawing just 15W, the Solabulb builds on the success of the Nyx and Lunabulb with even more features. Inside its industrial-style housing is Astera’s Titan RGBMA LED engine,
known for rich saturated colours, lifelike skin tones and a 96 TLCI rating. The beam’s output can be fine-tuned by rotating the barrel, while adding the included Solasnoot helps stop spill. Accessory barn doors can also be fitted to cut light output into distinct shapes. An IP44 rating means it’s good for damp outdoor shoots too.
