Kibou SOY SENSATION

From soul-soothing bowls of steaming ramen to delicate handcrafted sushi and sashimi sharing platters, discover a menu of exquisite Japanese food and drink at Kibou on Jesus Lane. You’ll find all your favourite dishes from Japan on the menu, including rich katsu curry, succulent chicken karaage, crisp tempura and pillowy-soft bao buns. There are a few signature twists in there too, such as sushi tacos and a volcano roll – a tempura-fried futomaki filled with fresh salmon and avocado. As the cold creeps in and nights grow longer, classics like the donburi rice bowls topped with chashu (pork belly) and teriyaki duck or salmon return. The menu also offers decadent platters like the Wagyu Zukushi – featuring traditionally farmed A5 wagyu beef from the island of Honshu mixed with the autumnal umami hit of truffle. The restaurant’s imaginative decor is also the perfect antidote to the winter blues. Learn more at kibou.co.uk
