SmallHD’s Cine 7 on-camera touchscreen monitor can now control Red cameras via a new software upgrade. Camera menus appear as an overlay on the Cine 7 screen. In addition to standard parameters like white-balance, resolution and file name, the new software licence provides deep-level menu control, including output overlays, image pipeline modification and power settings. The £395/$500 Camera Control licence for Red DSMC2 cameras includes an active camera-control cable and software licence. For a limited time, every Cine 7 purchase will include the bundle free.
