Back home in Kent, the club has had a bumper start to the year with talks on topics such as the legendary Lee Miller, drone photography and 60 years of the Red Arrows. The future programme includes Daguerreotypes, travel, studio photography and more. There are also plans with colleagues from other East Kent camera clubs based in Ashford, Canterbury, Deal and Herne Bay to get together and build on the wealth of knowledge they all share. Thanet club meetings are held at 7.30pm on Thursdays at the Portland Centre, Hopeville Avenue at St Peter’s in Broadstairs. On 3 March at a meeting of the North Fylde Photographic Society, she will be sharing her fascination with documenting everyday life on the streets of the ‘Las Vegas of the North.’ A native of the famous seaside town,
