For productions employing Wendy Lights in studio interiors, they have faced serious heat problems. So much so that wooden sets could catch fire from the intense temperatures. Great care and fire protection protocols have had to be strictly followed. LEDs still get warm, but they’re relatively cold-burning in comparison to a tungsten light. “I said, ‘look, I have an LED Wendy now’! There were two

That almost allows it to be a handy replacement for the mighty Wendy Light. “I designed and built it during lockdown when there wasn’t much going on,” Jung recounts. “I’d been talking to people about having a big outdoor light and it’s been very difficult. The original idea was to give us a waterproof Wendy Light, which is dimmable and takes less power.
