WOODSTOCK DER BLASMUSIK DATES 2-5 July 2026 LOCATION Ort im Innkreis, Austria
he Woodstock der Blasmusik (Woodstock of Brass Music) is Europe’s largest brass music
festival, held annually in Ort im Innkreis, Austria. The festival was officially launched in 2011. It started with around 9000 guests over a period of four days in Kopfing im Innkreis, but most recently, it saw 110,000 visitors across four days, from 2 to 5 July 2026. Around 150 bands with about 1500 musicians from 11 countries performed on the nine stages. Sennheiser’s digital Spectera wideband wireless systems were selected for the festival. The EW-DX mic series and Neumann Miniature Clip Mic (MCM) systems were used on the main stages. “We are using Spectera at our festival for the second time this year, and our initial scepticism towards the innovative WMAS technology has quickly given way to wholehearted enthusiasm,” says Mario Schwarz, technical director of the festival. Wireless technology plays an integral role at a festival featuring so many musicians across multiple stages. Wireless systems help reduce cable clutter and give musicians greater freedom on stage.
