Quality counts when it comes to taking brilliant stills or shooting engaging movie footage. There’s little point in going to the effort of finding the perfect location, at the right time of day and with the ideal subject to then use inferior equipment to capture it. Central to delivering optimum quality are the lenses and filters you attach to your camera body. After all, the

A 10-stop neutral density filter helps you to capture stunning long-exposure images. As the name suggests, a 10-stop ND filter reduces the light passing through the lens by 10 stops, making it possible to blur movement in normal daylight conditions simply by using a long shutter speed. B+W 10-stop ND filters are available in two forms, single coat or multi-coated, and are specifically designed to deliver the best possible results for digital stills photographers. The multi-coated version of the filter uses B+W’s unique Multi Resistant Coating (MRC), which has very low reflective properties and is resistant to scratching. Perhaps more importantly, however, MRC is also dirt and water repellent so it offers essential protection to your lenses. B+W 10-stop ND filters

Both single coat and MRC filters are available in sizes from 52mm to 82mm with recommended retail prices ranging from £53.95 to £170.94 for single coat and from £67.95 to £220.95 for MRC coating. All feature Schott coloured glass that is completely smooth to deliver optimum results, while the mounts are made from brass for a secure fit that ensures the filter remains exactly parallel to the imaging sensor at all times.
