8 World Photo Adventure In2018WorldPhotoAdventure has some fantastic workshops. In April there’s Camargue Wildlife, shootingthefamousCamarguehorses as they gallop through salt lagoons. In May, to mark the 100th anniversary of the end of the First World War, there’s the chance to photograph the architecture of the cemeteries with Candia Lutyens, granddaughter of Sir Edwin Lutyens. Did you know that the Royal Photographic Society dishes out training as well as awards and letters after your name? There are online and workshop courses, ranging from shooting and editing to selling work through picture libraries and managing a photographic business. Workshops typically run for one to two days. Over the next few months there are workshops on macro and art, car shoots, wedding photography, architecture, art nudes and, of course, landscape and portraiture (including Simon Ellingworth’s seminar on getting the most from your subject on 16 November).
